About 350,000 people are expected to arrive in Las Vegas for the game.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are driving to Las Vegas to see the Super Bowl live, you need to choose the best route, follow the rules of the road, and be prepared for traffic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"dklaw-toc__block align wp-block-dklaw-toc-block\"><div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the San Francisco Bay Area<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die-hard San Francisco 49ers fans making the journey to Las Vegas can expect an 8-hour drive by car. The distance between the two cities is around 550 miles if you choose the most direct route.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The easiest and most direct route is to take the I-5 south to the I-15. Given that these are some of the busiest interstate freeways in the country, expect traffic and delays. The day and time you leave will affect the time. Generally speaking, leaving early in the morning will save you time. Weekends also tend to see more traffic throughout the day than weekdays.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A longer but more scenic route takes about ten and a half hours. The drive takes you up to Sacramento, then across the state to Nevada on US-50 E. You would then follow US-95 south to Las Vegas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"dklaw-toc__block align wp-block-dklaw-toc-block\"><div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the Los Angeles Metro Area<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas takes about 4.5 hours on average, depending on traffic and the route you choose. However, you may face a much longer drive if you encounter heavy congestion, accidents, or road closures. The most direct route is to take the I-10 east to the I-15 north.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drive through the desert will take you past famous monuments and sites, such as the Bottle Tree Ranch, the Mojave National Preserve, and the Seven Magic Mountains.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"dklaw-toc__block align wp-block-dklaw-toc-block\"><div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the San Diego Area&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The journey from San Diego to Las Vegas will take you along the same route as Los Angeles. The fastest route is 330 miles and takes about 5 hours. San Diegans can take I-15 north all the way to Las Vegas. A more scenic route will take you on the SR-60 through Moreno Valley to the I-10. You can stop to see Joshua National Park and Mojave National Preserve before rejoining the I-15.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlights on this route include La Jolla, Calico Ghost Town, and Palm Springs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"dklaw-toc__block align wp-block-dklaw-toc-block\"><div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Road Closures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Leading up to Super Bowl LVIII, motorists should expect several road closures and lane restrictions near and around Allegiant Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following roads in Las Vegas and Clark County will be temporarily closed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-arrow-list\">\n<li><strong>Hacienda Avenue: <\/strong>Polaris Ave. to Valley View Blvd. until Feb. 15.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sobb Avenue<\/strong>: Game Changers Sports driveway to Cameron St. until Feb. 11.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Polaris Avenue<\/strong>: Lot W to Russell Rd. from Feb. 3 to Feb. 9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dewey Drive<\/strong>: Terrible\u2019s to Polaris Ave. until Feb. 15. Businesses can still access Dewey Dr.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Al Davis Way<\/strong>: Allegiant Stadium Way to Dean Martin Dr. Allegiant Stadium Way is closed at Hacienda Ave. until Feb. 15.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Frank Sinatra Drive<\/strong>: Lane restrictions from the Mandalay Bay loading dock to Russell Rd. from Feb. 7 to Feb. 11. Only one lane is open northbound and two lanes are open southbound.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Russell Road<\/strong>: Lane restrictions at Frank Sinatra Dr. from Feb. 7 to Feb. 11. Two eastbound turn lanes are closed at the back entrance of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dean Martin Drive<\/strong>: Lane restrictions from Russell Rd. to Lot N from Feb. 8 to Feb. 15. The lane restrictions will become a full closure to Oquendo Rd. Businesses can still access Dean Martin Dr.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sammy Davis Jr. Drive<\/strong>: Lane restriction from Goh Tong Way to the Resorts World employee\/delivery entry on Feb. 8, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The southbound turn lane into the employee entrance of Resorts World is also closed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sands Avenue<\/strong>: Lane restriction from Howard Hughes Pkwy to Paradise Ave. from Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. to Feb. 10 at 1 a.m. The north curb lane is closed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ali Baba Avenue<\/strong>: One-way traffic only eastbound from Valley View Boulevard to Dean Martin Dr. on Feb. 11. No westbound traffic is allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Las Vegas Boulevard<\/strong>: Lane restrictions in front of Bellagio until Feb. 16.
