Samar Hellar earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Human Rights from the University of California, San Diego. Her educational background and passion for helping others inspired her to pursue a legal career. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law, graduating cum laude.
During law school, Samar was actively involved in campus organizations and leadership roles. She served as Vice President of the Public Interest Law Foundation, was selected as an Honors Instructor for Legal Skills, and earned multiple academic excellence awards in legal skills, research, and writing.
Samar’s commitment to personal injury law began prior to law school, when she worked as a legal intern at a personal injury firm in Orange County, California. Since then, she has built extensive experience in the field, developing exceptional skills in legal writing, client communication, and advocacy.
