Meet Kara Nunez
Kara Nunez brings extensive litigation experience to DK Law, including bad faith insurance and family law. She has spent years counseling and advocating for clients during life’s most difficult moments. Kara also teaches Civil Procedure and Legal Research at the University of California, Irvine, where she earned the 2018 Distinguished Instructor Award for her responsiveness and ability to guide students through the litigation process.
She holds a B.S. in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she served as a staff writer and editor for the Entertainment Law Review and earned a certification in Mediation.
Known for her compassion and strong sense of justice, Kara is deeply committed to her clients and students alike. Outside of work, she is a dedicated wife and mother of three who enjoys traveling, cooking, and dancing.
